Project Overview

Building Four Art Director, Frank Yoculan, is nationally recognized for this “found-objects” sculpture outside the Fisherman’s Wharf Hyatt/Hotel Zephyr in San
Francisco.

This avant-garde sculpture is constructed out of welded steel and found objects,
including propane canisters, parts of shipping containers, and metal car parts.
The Junk Seagull stands 94 inches high, 48 inches wide, 78 inches in depth.
Side note: After cutting the “feathers” out of metal, the metal ovals left over were used to create the metal sculpture for Hotel Caribe in San Juan, PR.
