Zoo Atlanta opened a brand new African Savanna environment in the Fall of 2019. As a highlight to the environment and the new animals introduced by the zoo, Building Four Fabrication constructed a life-sized (adolescent) African Elephant, for display outside the exhibit.

Constructed of metal rods and taking over 600 hours to complete, the elephant comes complete with a real-sized “log” in it’s trunk. One of the elephant’s back feet is covered in lifelike elephant skin. Building Four Fabrication also provided the graphics and signage for the new exhibit.
